The event Metal Days Conference will be subsequently referred to as ‚MDC 19‘.
1. CONTRACT OBJECT:
These terms and conditions apply to all visitors (participants) at the event held at Hotel Kaskady in Sliac, SK on 12.06.2019.
2. RIGHT OF RESIDENCE IN THE VENUE:
Only with a valid ticket after successful check in at the registration desk. Access and residence restrictions apply to designated areas according to the hotel’s house rules. It is permitted to leave and re-enter the venue, but please note that disturbances are not permitted during the lectures (mobile phones and other electronic devices are switched to silent). Ruling on leaving the venue (eg within certain time after the end of the event).
3. PERMISSIBILITY OF SOUND, PICTURE OF FILM RECORDINGS:
are allowed for private purposes. For commercial purposes the consent of organizer must be obtained.
4. LEGAL PROTECTION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS:
In accordance with applicable laws, persons (apprentices) under the age of 18 may attend the event, but they are excluded from the competition. The conditions for participation in the competition can be found in the separate terms and conditions on the website www.metal-days.com.
5. SMOKING BAN AND OTHER RULES AND PROHIBITIONS:
In accordance with the hotel’s terms and conditions, ie house rules. You can find them on the webpage of the hotel on www.hotelkaskady.sk. Please note that the smoking ban applies in the entire hotel. If a fire alarm is triggered by improper conduct during the event, the hotel reserves the right to charge a fine of EUR 2,000.
The instructions given by the moderator via loudspeaker or personally transmitted (safety) instructions are tob e followed unconditionally and immediately.

8. TAKING ANIMALS TO THE VENUE :
is not allowed fort he event, if necessary special rules apply for partner dogs of disabled persons and are granted after consultation. However, we refer here to the house rules of the hotel. General legal regulations in the event law are to be considered.
8.1 Taking of food and beverages: is permitted, however, we kindly ask you not to consume any food during the lectures for the purpose of not disturbing other guests. Meals will be provided during the breaks.
9. RULING ON CANCELLATION/TERMINATION OF THE EVENT FOR REASONS OF FORCE MAJEURE:
Since the participation at the event is free of charge, no costs (eg. travel costs or the like) can be levied by the organizer. This regulation also applies in the case of cancellation or termination of the event for other reasons such as illness of the persons performing the event, banktrupcy oft he organizer, infection of computer with viruses, errors of the software and/or hardware and/or other technical and/or legal reasons. The reimbursement of the hotel room costs is not possible as the reservation has to be made voluntarily and by the guest himself/herself. Also excluded is the replacement of indirect or consequential damages.
We would like to point out that the visitors of the event are not insured by the organizer.
The organizer reserves the right to restrict itself from compensating the venue for damages caused by other party, ie guests of the event.
12. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
Should a provision of the conditions of participation be or become ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In such a case, the organizer and participants are obliged to contribute to the creation of provisions, by means of which another provision that comes closest to the intended economic result will be achieved.
13. APPLICABLE LAW
Subject to Austrian law only. Jurisdiction is the respective relevant court in Vienna, Austria.

1. KIND OF PRIZE
The prize is a weekend of your choice for two persons in Hotel Kaskady, (including two nights, breakfast and two dinners) for a worth up to 1000 Eur.
2. REGISTRATION / PARTICIPATION
Participation in the draw takes place automatically through the registration required on the homepage www.metal-days.com. For the registration must be stated at least the first and last name, company name, company address and e-mail address. It must also be stated that the participant has reached the age of 18. Responsibility for changes to this data, in particular the address and the email address, lies with the participant.
All persons who have reached the age of 18 at the time of their participation are eligible to participate. This does not apply to employees, authorized representatives, legal successors and agents of partners and their respective family and household members.
4. OTHER CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Participation is only possible by registering on the Internet and by attending the conference. Participation don’t depends on the acquisition of services by the partners or other companies involved in the organization of the competition. By participating in the lottery, the participant agrees to the rules of the lottery.
4.1. PERIOD OF THE LOTTERY
Participation is possible within the times stated in the raffle or by registering, or until a certain date at the latest. The lottery starts with the event on 12.6.2019 and ends on the same day. Deadline for the registration is 12.05.2018, but the partners reserve the right to extend the deadline with respective reference to the homepage.
5. PROFIT DETERMINATION
Among all participants, the winner will randomly draw during the event in front of all participants.
6. NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNERS
The winners will be notified directly during the event as well as by e-mail and published on the social media channels or on the homepage of the partners.
7. TRANSMISSION OF PROFITS
The prize will either handed over personally (upon presentation of an official identity) or sent to the address given at registration. If the winner does not reply within eight weeks of the notification, he loses any claim.
8. TERMINATION OPTIONS
The partners reserve the right to discontinue or terminate the lottery at any time without notice. This is especially given if the competition for some reason cannot run as planned, such as infection of computers with viruses, errors in software and / or hardware and / or other technical and / or legal reasons, the administration, the Security, integrity and / or regular and orderly conduct the competition.In such cases, the Partners have also the right to modify the competition at their discretion.
The personal data collected and processed by us will be used primarily for the purpose of processing the lottery and if the participants have accepted the event, for sending a newsletter. Of course, we observe all applicable data protection laws that are valid.
10. LEGAL REMEDIES AND LIABILITY
The legal process is excluded. There is no enforceable right to receive the winnings. Partners are not

Furthermore, the partners shall not be liable for theft or destruction of the data storage systems and / or storage media or for the unauthorized modification and / or manipulation of the data in the systems and / or on the storage media by the participants or third parties. Incidentally, the partners are only liable for gross negligence or intentional acts of its legal representatives, employees or vicarious agents. The partners shall not be liable for any damages suffered to the winner or relatives of the winner in connection with the prize. The above exclusion of liability does not apply to the extent that liability is mandatory, e.g. in cases of intent, gross negligence, injury to life, limb or health or breach of essential contractual obligations. The claim for damages for the breach of essential contractual obligations, however, is limited to the contractually typical, foreseeable damage, unless liability for intent or gross negligence or for injury to life, limb or health. A change of the burden of proof to the disadvantage of the participant is not connected with the above regulations.
If any provision of the Conditions of Participation is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In such a case organizers and participants are obliged to participatein the creation of provisions, by which an ineffective provision economically as close as possible resultis achieved.
12. APPLICABLE LAW
The competition is subject exclusively to Austrian law. Jurisdiction is the relevant court in Vienna Austria.
